Christoph Gürtler from Covestro has been playing a decisive role in the research and development of CO2 as a new raw material in plastics production.
Berit Stange at Covestro has helped that there are concrete products on the marketplace now that can be manufactured with CO2.
CO2 can now be used for producing soft foam, as shown on the picture.
Covestro uses a special plant in Dormagen near Cologne, Germany to produce a crucial plastic component with up to 20 percent CO2.
CO2 as an all-round talent.
